Webb17 feb. 2024 · I'm would like to apply a defined displacement over time onto a Simscape Model. It seems there's only a "velocity" and "force" source element. Is there a best practice for modelling a position source? I've tried to simply use my time-position and connect it to a derrivation block to get a velocity-demand to use in a velocity-source. WebbThe Ideal Translational Velocity Source block represents an ideal source of velocity that generates velocity differential at its terminals proportional to the input physical signal. The source is ideal in a sense that it is assumed to be powerful enough to maintain specified velocity regardless of the force exerted on the system.

Webb7 To add the representation of the force acting on the mass, open the Simscape > Foundation Library > Mechanical > Mechanical Sources library and add the Ideal Force Source block to your diagram. To reflect the correct direction of the force shown in the original schematic, flip the block by selecting Format > Flip Block > Up-Down from the … WebbIf you want to keep having the DC-motor there - which doesn't really do all that much at the moment - you can use an Ideal Rotational Motion Sensor. That sensor output needs to be converted to Simulink (PS -Simulink Converter), use a regular Gain block and then again convert to Simscape (Simulink-PS Converter). blacked out wrx sti
